Can anyone recommend an enclosure volume and tuning frequency for SX12 on 1000w? I'm starting a box build, but the RE suggestions are pathetically small (2.0cf max).
Also is using polyfill inside the enclosure recommended? I have plenty of space to work with, probably 28w x 18h x15d or so.
Nissan Frontier Crew Cab. Looking for a combination of output and low freqs. I had a 2.0cf enclosure tuned at 37hz and was satisfied until the enclosure cracked.
If there is anyway I can get additional output, I'm all ears. I'm not as concerned about power handling as my amp probably falls short of 1000w RMS, and there's a subsonic filter.
want more output with that SX? keep the tuning at 34/35hz but up the power.. on clean power and a good charging you can throw 1500rms on it daily.. given the box is to specs and its clean power
