some people do it by ear and some people do it by dmm

i like to use dmm just to know where i am...

to calculate the target voltage - do you multiply desired wattage by impedence, then take the square root of the result?

for example
RD3250 - 3750 @ .875 ohms

3750*.875=3281.25

take the square root

target voltage = about 57.28 volts

is this correct?
