Silver Member Username: Evildoughboy08Toledo, OH US and A Post Number: 206 Registered: Jun-08 | ok. so. the 2 15s i bought were a 5600 watt max pair, there's no way my 1990 car would handle it w/o electrical upgrade, which im too lazy to do. so i traded the 15s and the amp for 2 12" kicker CVRs in the kicker ported box with the one big a$S port hole on it, plus 500 bucks because it was a RF 4000 watt amp. so now i have 4 JL W0s in the trunk all wired to 2 ohms on one channel of a 1600 watt amp, and the kicker CVRs wired to 2 ohms on the other channel. the JLs are all 4 in a sealed box. the amp pushes them fine. the kickers are in my backseat, which is ok because i live in a really good neighborhood now. |

Canaan is in charge of all that lol. I didn't bring my camera. I figured out a few new things about my car that I am going to be working on in the next few weeks. 152.x in my trunk car is my goal, and it seems very reachable at this point. |

But yeah you don't do any retarded crap. Also you would have 3 different kinds of boxes right now if we didnt tell you to get 1 box for all 4 of your jl's. You obviously still didn't listen to what we said because you decided to pick up another pair of subs and a new box to re-mismatch your setup. Redeem yourself and sell all of the subs and the boxes, buy a pair of better subs for what you sell the old ones for and build a custom box for them. That way you will have a respectable system that you can put into your new car when you get it rather than wasting money. Sorry for being a d!ck. PS It is a bad idea. |

PS i have my 12s in one box, seperate chambers, a 2 channel amp, and the 4 in the trunk i had was wired to 2 ohms, the twoi put in the backseat for fun was a 2 ohm load, so my amp was fine, and it had great SQ. maybe instead of pretending that you know everything in the world you should ask a few questions about what you're running your mouth about. i heard a XXX today too. i thought it had horrible SQ, but then again, what do i know? i'm the kid from the hood. love to all of you, after all, its the haters in life that make the rest of us look better. or in this case sound better.(im not reading this again so don't bother posting. i got the last word in.) |
