current 2 l5 12's, memphis prd 1000.1, my goal is to at least be this loud if not louder, but my new setup i really want better sq too.

new setup box for my 2 door blazer, 12.6 cubes tuned to 36 hertz, amp will be audioque 2200.1

i need help 2 choose the 4 12's, it will be either the cvr 12's, sdc2.5 12's, or the type r 12's. out of these 3 types of subs witch in own opinions will be louder, and with will have better sq

Thanks for your help, cant wait to install

Out of the choices given I'd take the Type Rs any day.

It could stand to have a bigger alternator but that one may get you by.

Definetly use good batteries like Odyssey or Kenetik though. Huge difference from standard car batteries.

Type r's out of your choices. They only recommend 2 cf. per sub ported. But another sub you could consider would be two mach 5 audio mj 18 m's with an amp that produces 1400 watts or more at 2 ohms and that would at least be easier on your electrical. Four 12's equals 452.16 square inches. Two 18's equals 508.68 square inches. Ive seen videos with them and they are loud ported.

how much is your budget? 4 type R's would cost somewhere around 800? so would that be your budget? i think you can get a better louder pair for 800 and not have to replace your electric system

i recently bought 2 Rd Alpha's V.2 18's for under $500. They get LOUD,LOW, and maintain really good SQ. Food for thought.
