i want a system that looks good in a show car but also sounds good for when I want to hear some bass... i looked around and can get this for about $300 and want to put it in a mdf-fiberglass box. It is going in a 08 escape and want to spend around $700-900 total. (Sub-Enclosure-Amp) I already have a kinetik battery and 0 and 4 ga wire. Is this a good sub for Sq with some Spl?
id say there are better subs out there for you if you want output aswell sounds like your looking for an sql sub try FI Q or BL, Sound splinter has sum too
and when you say fiberglass box im guessing you are going sealed which will cause a loss for output as well your better off going ported and building your own box
I plan on going ported. The box will be built out of mdf with a fiberglass finish to it. Mainly to give me a spot to mount the amp and make it look like one big enclosure when really all it is is a box and a shelf. Definetly going ported tho.
