passport 8500 x50 or the beltronics rx65 they are basicly the same made by different comanys. personaly i like the 8500 x50. those are some of the top radars on the market. Dont get cheaper ones ive had cheaper ones and they suck, not reliable and dont pick up signals from as far away. i have the 8500 x50 and its great.

Cobra somehthing rather, don't remember what model it is but it is heavy, got it from Hunter I think lOl. Works nice but always use common sense like letting someone faster go ahead!. Polo..

They are not a waste of money.

Valentine One is the best radar detector on the market, hands down no question.

The Escort 9500 is also pretty good and the gps feature is really an incredible idea and is good in theory, i'm not sure how well it works though.

Just keep your eyes open, don't drive like a jackass, and you won't get pulled over.

Radars can't tell one thing:

I use my 8500 x50 for the same thing. When it goes off beer down music down.
There is no speeding involved, my honda barely gets on the interstate!

radar detectors will become usless soon. many law enforcement agencies are switching to radar. I know a lot of HP arouund here use it. its basically point, click, clock...

Even so, most officers won't bother you going 5-9 over. most around here go by "at 9 you're fine but 10 you're mine." Why would you need to do 10 over? Don't be that jackass
