Its a cleaner signal. Which means you can run even less gain on the amp than the 5v. As long as your amps can handle the voltage which im pretty sure yours can.

your 3250 can handle 6 volts.

http://www.rdaudio.net/rd3250/rd3250.htm

"Input Sensitivity 200mV to 6V (+/- 5%)"

I did some reading and it looks like you only need the 5 volt because apparently it is 5 volts per rca pair if the headunit is 5 volt preout but someone correct me if im wrong.

The 7200mkII is a very nice HU.
I love mine.

Running it active to my C4a and DDC6.5's, and they sound great. I really need to build some tweeter pods on the a-pillar though.

be careful on RCA ratings.. sub companies say 4v preouts.. which the front/rear RCAs may be but in the book it will state the subwoofer out is only 2v

Idk about Eclipse but just a fyi to look in the manuals

In most cases the rated output voltage of the receiver is usually attained when the volume on the receiver is nearest 100%.
