If I have a four volt preout and I run two 8 volt line drivers will they boost my voltage higher than one single 6 channel line driver boosting up to 8 volts. The way im seeing it two separate line drivers would achieve a higher gain am I right?

This will be using a two amplifier setup. One for the sub and one for the high amp.

Nope you'd have 8 volts output either way.

Not really an answer to your question, but why do you need more than 4v preout?

Its in an effort to increase spl and sq. Im thinking of running it to my amp which I believe accepts 8 volts. When I was going to run two it was going to be for another amp as well.
