Hey guys,I've been reading the forum a couple days,I'm impressed with your knowledge.I had back surgery 2 weeks ago and I can't do anything so I decided to up date up my system a little.Driving a 77 bronco half cab, room for 4 or 5 cu ft box.I've got one 12" phoenix and two small amps now.My budget is only $300 for amp and 1 15" or 2 12's.I'm leaning toward 1 15".What do you think.Thanx.

the amt of cuft volume occupied by either set will be close so either will work though 2 12s have more cone area

2 12s = 226.08 sq inches , 1 15 = 176.63 ....

more cone area = louder. which is why 2 12"s is better than 1 15".

Come on MS, you know better than that. Just because you have more surface area does not mean it is louder. Like saying a V8 will always be faster than a V6. Polo..

if you raise your budget a little you could go with a audioque 2.5 15 and a alpine m500
