That is a nice box!!

BJ does amazing work!

The only question that I have is isn't 7.5 cubes kinda small for 2x15" subs....?

I have 2x15" Alphas arriving as well but I think the box that the box size a friend go after inputting inputting dimensions and what not came out to just over 11 cubic feet...

@Quentin

Crazy, Steve takes a mega long time to repond to e-mails as it's been about 9 days since I sent him one as I also asked him what he suggested for box size and tuneing...and now I know :-)

Just wondering though as I want to do interchangeable ports so I can have 34hz daily and around 47hz for SPL....wonder if 7.5 cubes would still be ok for that application.....?

yea 7.5 cubes works. they said for a single 15" Alpha 3 - 3.5 x 2 cubes i just add .5 to make 7.5. what you powering yours with?

I am hoping to do both but if the interchangeable ports dont really work out for me then I am going with daily as I am tired of my current bot @ 47hz as I need some nice sounding bass.

I'll use my current car for SPL, new car for SQL.

I currently have 2x12" Alphas in my trunk and they pound (147.3db with car running) but being tuned @ 47hz they don't sound as tight as they could.

So I picked up 2x15" Alphas...lol

Yeah Steve is hard to get a hold of if you can, find out his number and call him as e-mail responses are usually pretty slow.

I don't call as it's looooong distance.

Keep pelting him over e-mails :-)

Hmm... I emailed Steve about the cutout diameter for the Alphas being wrong on his site (right Quentin, lol) and I got a response back in less than 12 hours.

I'm going to guess 148.4db on a TL Db drag style, car off and sealed burped at 43hz as you peak....lol

Me and a buddy are buying a TL so we can test, it will make it SOOO much easier for building boxes as all my testing is done AT the comps...lol

It's hard to say what "song" will be loudest as something that is loud on the ears is not always necessarily loud on the mic....test tone sweeps are the best as you can find your peak frequency.

A buddy of mine does 145ish music on Emnimensemiems go to sleep, he has 6 10"s.

So on Music I would guess around 143db for you as well (hopefully)
Then again you could be higher or lower as thats just my gues...lol
