I had to call him back and tell him "the only way I am touching this car is to gut it and start from scratch." I'll let the pics tell the story. We were all doing them like that back in the days, didn't have anything to draw enough current to matter, 12g wire FTMFW hahahhahha... We use to get eq's and stolen radios with no schematics or anything usually chopped to all hell and having to figure out what was what. Hardest to do was to figure out the power supply, back then there wasn't a standard between manufactures so we smoked a lot of stereos. I later learned how to open and trace the power supplies and used a small speaker to trace the outputs/fader, PITA... Polo.  |
