Subs getting hott????

i have two tc sounds 1ks or epic wired to one wire to an ed nine.1 and the subs the past 2 days are starting to get hot when bumping them...turn gains down or what????

Sounds like clipping. Have you adjusted anything on your amp latley? If not, go through your HU, and turn down your sub a bit. Any particular new songs or cd your listening to lately? Might have a poor recording or something too.

if its the just cap and its getting hot but not burning hott that happens if the glue around the spider gets hot or the dust cap is burning hot then id be worried

yep try turning gain down & using more vol on ur HU to get better\cleaner output ....

Use your ear and listen for distortion. If you're clipping you should be able to notice that it doesn't sound too good and clipping will cause your subs to heat up pretty badly.
