So I'm looking for either a pair of 10's or 12's to run off of 500-600w @ 4 ohms. Will be going sealed. Will be buying used unless I find a blowout deal. Would like to stay under $200.

I was thinking something along the lines of AA assassins?

Yea $200 for both. Would like to find something even cheaper than that, but I doubt I will find anything of descent quality for much less. It's for my AQ1200D, so a single channel.

why would you buy that amp and plan to run it at 4ohm? how about a single sealed 15"? would require the same space as two 10s or 12s

either way i'd run it at 1ohm and find a nice pair of subs that were 600rms each

two RE SEs would sound great, but idk about on that budget

I have them for $50/each. Work well in small sealed boxes. I have six.

They're the dual 4.

I got them during their sale. I was pondering over making a monster tower set for the house but that budget got thrown out when I bought my rv.

$50/ea is a great price.

My electrical in my car won't handle that amp @ 1 ohm, even 2 ohm might be pushing it. So I'm going with 4 ohm so I have headroom for an amp for my front stage in the future.

Those are Dual 4's correct? (Crossing my fingers for Dual 4). And how much to my door for 2 to 61536?

I'd have to check with UPS first......

Quick check shows a $26 shipping charge for 36lbs 3 day transit to your zip from mine.

So like $130 shipped for the pair after Paypal fees.

Shipping could be off but IDK.

Rough guess.

Well I'm interested. I'll get back to ya, as I'm still not 100% sure about going forth with a system. Just need to make up my ever so undecided mind lol.

running that amp at 1ohm will be more efficient that at 4ohm ..

ive tried this on my old RE 35.1 .. my lights dimmed worse with it wired at 4ohm

ive ran 3600rms on a 90amp alt and two yellowtops

your safe to run 1200rms on a stock charging unless your just dumb with your equipment

Well I have a 93' z28. Has an underdrive pulley so the alt is creating less current and the batts are kinda small in these cars. I always though class D amps were more efficient @ a higher ohm load?

How much power do the rsd's need? Are you referring to the new or old rsd's?
