I found out that it wasn't the fact that my lanzar 1600w amp was too small it was the fact that my RCAs sucked and I upgraded them to bigger wire and gold plated connecters. also the fact that my 40amp inline fuse was partially blown...all I had to do was set my gain and now they sound more than decent.
