my friend wants to buy a new sub, he has $100-$125. Needs to be a 10" going into a sealed truck box, and he is looking for sql. thanks

i think the type r is the best bang for the buck you can pretty much get. that or an AQ SDC2.5 with about 700rms should be plenty loud i think, if they are in the appropriate enclosure of course.

or for around same price put 2 subs kicker cvr's they go good in sealed 600 rms

What is the budget for sub and amp? If he wants more than Type R, he is pushing it on that budget.
