My brother is looking to finish off his system in his 98 Stratus. He wants a sub but needs some storage trunk room, so I am thinking either 8" or 10" at most. Could you guys give me some recommendations to look at, also amps would be great. He prefers SQ over SQL. Thanks
No budget necessarily

i've been told that dpl-10 works good in a 1.5-2cuft. sealed box, but doesn't like ported in a car.

and personally i'd look into a idq 10.

Last I heard, I think all the v1's are gone. But there are some refurb E8's coming out.

"i'd look into a idq 10."

I own a idq 12 in a little over 1 cf sealed and I personally have heard the jl 12 w 6 and it sounded better on the jl 250 than my idq 12 did on 350 rms and I believe it would have sounded about ideal on 400 to 500 watts because you could tell it was under powered on 250 watts.

f'ing phenominal Paul! I need to make a vid, but my girl took her camera, and I don't know where mine is, as I'm not done unpacking (just moved into a new apartment)

Funny Story though: So the one you sent me has a different colored dust cap than the one mike(owner of SS) sent me....I'm debating asking for an exchange, but I just haven't made time to do it.
