I tihnk you will be better off doing a single sub setup. Check out Steve Miller's garage thread, a Sonance 15 would be nice.

Looking more for loud/loud sq...Right now I've got a DEH-P6000UB HU and an 8 gauge wiring kit but I can always trade that in for a bigger one.

Thanks for the quick responses guys! I really appreciate all the help.

One more thing I forgot to mention. I'm going to be putting these subs in a box under my rear seats in my 1998 F-150 extended cab. If anyone knows of a good place to find a fitted box that would be great too. I've checked ebay and supercrewsound, but if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know!

Ok I think I decided on what I'm going to do. Since I'm putting the subs under my rear seat, there won't be much room. So I decided on either 2 P3SD412 or 2 P3SD212...and I was looking at the Audioque 1200D amp and it looks solid...any comments?

Since the subs are 400RMS each I was thinking of running them at 2 ohms so that would mean I should get the P3SD212s yes? http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-o hm_mono.jpg

and Audioque 1200D is a mono subwoofer that will go 870rms at 2ohms.

just want to make sure this all sounds right?
Thanks!

What subs are those???

And a Audioque 1200d is a great amp. But run it a 1 ohm if you get that.

They're 2 Ohm DVC shallow subs from rockford fosgate http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?search=P3SD212&i=575P3SD21 2

I think the only way I can wire them is for a 2 ohm load though?

And I'm looking at putting them in this box http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem%26item%3D230281630062&_trksid=p390 7.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching

That should all work, correct? It's my first box setup and I just want to make sure everything will be compatible...like even though the subs are smaller than the mounting depth in the box they will still fit?
Thanks

and as long as i set the gains correctly on the amp/subs I shouldn't have a problem right? if it says the amp can pump out up to 1200rms at 1 ohm then it should have no problem pumping 800rms at 1 ohm?
