i bought 2 rockford fosgate 12" p1 subs in a rockford fosgate ported box for 180 and a 2000 watt amp for like 150 and hooked it up my self and to me (this is my first system) sounds great!!!! this is a pretty good starting point for some one new like me right?

p1s are deff not top of the line but also deff a decent sub bud you can grow from there i started with audiobahn lol everybody starts somewhere congrats on the new system

dude. i started out with two olllllddddd 10" pioneers in a truck box that had been rained on while sitting in my friends bed. you started off better than i did haha. what 2000 watt amp are you using?

i started with two subs i bought from a friend... i couldnt even find them on google when i search them and a dual amp hahaha this is a good start man.

Definitely not the worst setup thats been posted on here. But there's a lot of room for improvement from that.

btw I can tell you just from the price that amp doesn't do 2000w. But thats a good thing b/c if it actually did anywhere near that power those subs would be history..... in reality it is probably a good match.

Looks likes it hits nicely. Where is your LPF set at? It sounded like it rolled off a little soon up top, but hard to tell in a video.

Make sure your amps filter is set to Low pass, or LPF. Tune that to around ~80hz, or wherever it sounds good at.
