I was waiting for resonant engineering's SL line to come out but they've taken too damn long!

What would anyone recommend for a slim profile sub besides the new SL's? I heard JL has a line.

JL has the TW5's. Though expensive, they appear to be pretty nice subs. JL has them slotting between the W3 and W6 line which says quite a bit about them.

Not a fan of new-school RE. There are other slims, but from companies that aren't necessarily reputable or that won't be out for quite a while. For something out right now, the JL is your best bet.

For something on a budget though, these Tang Band's are quite nice. I had a single one in a very small sealed enclosure a while back. Worked quite well. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-862&FTR=264-862&CFID =9364960&CFTOKEN=68052451

I checked TW5's not a fan of the $600 price tag. Could've shoved down the $200 a piece price tag much more easily for a pair of RE's though.

So ... anything besides JL that's decent?
