icixsound.com

uscomposites.com
www.urethanesupply.com
harborfreight.com for the cheapest but very good brush's

Advice on what types of resin to get and so forth.

B-440 Premium Polyester Layup Resin
FG-10504R Chopped Mat, its the 1 1/2oz Mat Tape
Gloves, Mask, Mixing Cups, Mixing Sticks, and graduated plastic cups. All found here http://www.shopmaninc.com/containers.html

One thing is certain, don't go cheap on the resin. Buy the b440! Ask Nick and Chad, they instantly knew the difference off the bat. Anything thing else, you have my screenname.

Mike, when you visit fiberglassforums.com they have 2 sections. A subwoofer section and audio panels. So what ever your looking at doing, they both have useful and great theads on both sides. Why did I post up icixsound.com? Because besides fiberglassforums.com, if you sign up to icixsound.com's email newsletter, they often do fiberglass builds that are great to look at. Also check out smd's website out. But the threads in my opinion are quite outdated but some good ones. I haven't been there in awhile so I don't know whats going on. I mainly can see some of the fiberglassing threads that smd has over on fiberglassforums though. Also, as for urethanesupply.com, I posted this because they have supplies that you'll most likely use if working on plastic panels.

Really easy way. You have a bottom mdf board and a back mdf board. Round the 90degree angles so the overall outcome is very smooth. Angle your speaker rings in any matter you desire. Then wrap it in whatever material you want to use. Anything from speaker grille cloth to fleece/felt.

Heres a good thread of what I'm talking about. If I find anymore I'll send them your way.

Pretty good thread right there if you want to make a fiberglass enclosure that falls into the spare wheel compartment.
