Either way, glad its going good so far and good luck with the rest. Looking forward to pics.

It takes alot of experimenting to do "well" on a meter. Every box I build for my vehicle, I learn something new.

It is looking good BLK. I know it will be extremely loud for daily. Might also do good on the meter.

i know it takes a lot of testing to do get amazing high numbers but hey! ya never know! and i can always cut off some of the port and tune it higher... haha
i could tune it to like 75 Hz and just get some good burps out of her!
but i have worked by butt of the last few days on this thing.
i just got everything glued and screwed togather i am aobut to go back out and put the back on it then start the fiberglass resin

i wasn't kidding.. looks great though.. be sick daily

but wave alignment is not going to be to well for you with that design

depending where you vehicle peaks you should have build towards that

ex: if your meter on the pass side your port should be on the drivers side and the drivers all the pass side

think of the 1/4 wave

i am only running one 2200aq
4 15aq sd2.5s

at .5 ohms.. even though the amp is not made for it.

does any one have a lay out of how to wire it at .5 ohms?

ya i was a sketch up retard last months it just takes time and after u get the hang of it then its not to bad.

"a wall in a daily driver is dumb"

that is what my grandma said! followed by "luke ur going to loose ur hearing or have an anyurism"

its ok man, not every one can have a ride like mine.

i am kinda wishing i would have fot Qs and tuned down like 30 or 25 Hz.. but i think ill take home some first place pretty easy in the comps i have seen.

and just to ask u guys! i have only seen one car that could do the hair trick. it was in the 170s, (and no i didn't set inside of it)
but what does it take to do the hair trick? i am hoping i can do it

first of benjamin ... dont get all cocky saying not everybody can have a ride like mine ... cuz regardless if u have a wall or not that doesnt mean $hit ...

unless ur competing heavily a wall is a waste of time ... and if u can do a 150 then great for you .. still not gonna get u laid but great for u ...

all the walls ive seen have been done strictly for the purposes of competition... in comparison to a system that consists of a normal enclosure its easily expendable ... and can be changed and rearranged .. therefore unless the wall is done properly 100 percent .. which is highly doubtful in any install due to the fact that the person making the wall doesn't know all of the components of his or her vehicle ... its a waste of time .. now i dont know how about the kid whos making this enclosure but unless he has an ungodly amount of time on his hands ... redoing a wall isnt exactly on many peoples to do list ...

obviously research can be compiled of what is going into there car and how they can tune specific enclosures to dominate at frequencies they feel they want to excel at ...

in addition to the box and its output ... taking into consideration what the wall is going to do the car is something that needs to be mentioned ... if the wall is in fact a wall itll most likely kill the interior of this vehicle ... so unless the money is flowing where u can afford another vehicle because this one is torn up ... then a wall should be out of the question .. because 150 daily is nothing to ride around with all day long ... i dont care how much of a basshead you are ... your ears can only last so long ..

if the kid wants a wall in his golf by all means man ... thats great man i wish u the best of luck .. me personally i would never do it in a car i had to get in and drive everyday to work..

yea well the nicer the car the more chance u might get a girl .. its a proven fact look at alot of the population in LA most are ugly .. gotta bentley .. gotta broad simple as that lol

Some people like having insane amount of bass for their daily driving. A wall is a good way to do it if you know what you are doing.

Either way, it is all just an opinion lol

If you don't understand the diagram just wire all positives together and then all negatives together A.K.A. parallel.

ok first of all, i can't see the pics cause i don't have a myspace account.

also if you are building a wall just to break 150 then that is a waste of time, space, and effort on your part. you gotta shoot for high numbers. also wall on your daily driver gets really annoying cause you can't see behind you. you can get a rearview camera that stays on but that will cost you money.

i guess i am jealous too cause i can't do a wall on my daily driver. :-)

i agree on the no wall in a daily driver movement. cant see behind you, hard to rearrange and change, and god forbid you ever have to haul anything bigger than a shoebox. but if you're fine with that it should be loud as hell haha
