summertime again meaning time for a new system but i love my btl so im gonna build a new box instead (after i finish those fiberglass door panels going on 2months now) anyway box is gonna be about 7cuft at 33hz im going with 4 flared ports. question is do you think i should go with 4 of the the 4" ports or 4 of the 6" ports. i will be still running of a KX2500.1 thanks for your help.
i dont have much experience with fi products but 4 4" ports seems a little low on the port area for an 18" BTL so if it were me ide go with the 6" ports
Id go with the 4 four inch aero ports. I think it will provide a higher output on the upper bass and still be good on the lows. I think four six inch aeros will be too much port area and will provide mostly low end frequency output.
I think you should do four. Chad did two 4 inch aero's like I recommended on 1200-1500 and it worked but he moved the tune up to 36 hz instead of the intended 32 hz because of space issues but I think four will work for you at 33 hz.
