Some people post here because it gets more traffic. There will always be disagreements about t his issue. What can you or anyone else do to stop it, though? "dont know if this forum will ever get some mods ..." Posting on this forum is your choice. You are not forced to do so. If you would rather post on a forum with mods, go somewhere like CA or CAF, etc. But please do not complain about there not being any mods because it will never change. It would be a better place tho if we did have a few. |

Eventually it will get bumped down and forgotten about. We really do need atleast a few mods. Wouldn't hurt if we had more people who were sensible enough to post OT threads in the OT section the Admin made for us.....Let me introduce everyone to it: https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/off-topic/289508.html Notice how its all OT over there and nothing about subs/amps/audio.....audio stays in the audio sections and OT SHOULD stay in the OT section. If people would start going over there to create their OT threads, this forum would be much better and wouldn't be one of the laughing stocks of the audio forums because we would actually have organization and wouldn't look like a giant clusterfuck. All it takes is for people to ignore all OT threads which are in the audio section. Don't post anything in it. Just ignore it. The thread starter will take note of the no replies and will post it again in the OT section hopefully if he has any sense what so ever. |

It's disappointing because the OT section is fun as is, and would be even better with more posters. The forum would certainly benefit from the presence of mods, but enough has been said on that issue, I agree. Maybe a year or more ago, OT threads were occasionally posted in non-OT sections by new members and such. If the threads weren't ignored completely, a couple brief posts were made giving the OP a hard time. It isn't hard to self-govern the forum a bit while we wait pessimistically for the addition of mods. |

One of my favs. In fact my usual order starts at the bottom and works its' way up. Suggestions/feedback, for sale, OT, movies, sat forum for fun and laughs, home audio, then car audio. I don't go in that order for any other reason than for the fact that when I get to here it takes up much more time. Agreed. More interest = more traffic. Have a looksee over in the OT section and scroll down. Paul is all over the mutha.  |
