If your amp really does 2000wrms then look at these subs

http://www.audioque.com/aq/HDCSeries.htm

2 15s would be loud as f*ck.

okay... BXi-2007 puts out about 1600wrms.. A little less with stock charging.
2 AQ sdc2.5's 15's would sound nice and get loud

im convinced that it's putting out at least close to 2000, and i want some headroom on the subs.

i looked at the hdc but i thought they didn't do as well on lows. any experience with the 18" version?

Off of the amp you are using, the new RD Audio Sonance would be a pretty nice way to go. Tune her low and let it rip. 5.5-6 cubes total and you will be fine. It will also save you some money as well :-)

It does out out about 1600 at 14.4v.
Bu then u gotta realize you will not always be at 14.4 and box rise will factor in also.

"im convinced that it's putting out at least close to 2000, and i want some headroom on the subs."

Wrong. On a stock electrical ud be lucky to get 1300-1400rms. As Nicky V said ~1600rms at 14.4v... you are probably looking at closer to 12.5v or lower with that amp on your electrical. Its physically impossible for it to push out 2kw.

actually u sonance 18s would be a good deal. as far as a single 18 I think the rl-p would be a great choice.

I actually carry RE, and there is no way possible to get a new one for less than a G. It isn't worth it anyways.

Tim if you are talking of the new RE XXX You our of your mind. Even if you are talking about the 04/05 XXX you would be underpowering them. You should start with a HO alt and work from there. Or with a single sub setup. On a side note i would power a XXX with a BXi-2007.
