Amp Channel Query

Sup,
Ive got a 2channel amp, quite a large one.

Ive been asking myself whether bridging the 2 channels at 4ohm will give me more power then running each channel at 2ohm??

Ive got a sub, dual 2ohm voicecoils.
So could either run in series at 4ohm, or run each voicecoil on a channel at 2ohm each? Which option would provide more power?

Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

You'd get the same power either way, but putting coils on seperate channels is never a good idea b/c if the output of both channels is not EXACTLY the same it can cause problems.

So bridge it at 4 ohm and wire the coils in series.

Shot for the info!
I assumed that if the both left and right signals have not been balanced perfectly, then theyll counteract each other on the voicecoils. Not cool.

Will leave brideged at 4ohm :-)
