Nice build.
I like the black on grey w/ the divider.

I use grey and platinum most of the time.

Looks like the 2-tone look is catching on :-)

How big was each chamber after displacement? I might need something for the new ride!

Rovin,
Are you just cutting the carpet flat w/ the edge of the recessed baffle?

If so, there is another way you can do the 2-tone recessed look and have a little different look.

Upload

If you do it like that, there is no seam on the baffle and the carpet holds down better.

Cool.
From looking at your pics, thats the way I thought you were doing it.

The pic w/ the 2 2512's above was the first one I built. I routered the recessed baffle just a little w/ 1/4" round over bit. Then I tucked the black and platinum carpet into the small pocket w/ a flathead screw driver. Then just run a razor through the crease and tuck in any left overs. The baffled on that box was doubled also.

You are the only other person I have seen that build/carpet like that.

Its crazy how simple stuff like a recessed baffle can make a box look so much better. I sell quite a few boxes like this...usually charge ~$10-15 extra for it.
