Earthquake 5000 @ .5 ohms?

Be careful with Earthquake. None of their amps were really stable at 1 ohm very well. A bunch of folks had issues with their amps even with correct voltage.

I ran mine at .5 ohm daily but I had my gains set at about 1/2 way and I had no issues with it but I found it to be overrated as I gained (if I can remember) 2.7db when going to an RD 5750.1 I sold mine to Cam (on Ecoustics)and it's been treating him well!

I heard about many people smoking this amp while others have had no issues what so ever.

Yeah earthquake amps just plain suck, I wouldn't do it.

whatever happened to earthquae my broth in law used to always talk about it he had 2 15's not sure what kind, and 2 shredder amps, that was about 7 years ago, people said earthquake went downhill, does nebody know what happened?
