i understand how to wire the sub...the part i dont understand is how to wire to the amp... it goes |pos|neg|neg|pos|

i tried the first pos and second neg and basically just stuck the wires in every which way and nothing......

any positive and any neg. should work.... It is a mono amp and is internally connected(speaker terminals).. If still no sound check:
1) is amp power light on?

2)Headunit settings- if using sub out outputs on HU make sure the sub crossover in set to on.
this is as far as im gonna go till i find out if amp power light is on?
