Well now it's my turn :-)

This one will be a bit different. We will have more than one winner! The total number of winners will depend on how many entrants there are by the end of the week. I will decide prior to the drawing and let you all know.

Also...more than one prize option :-) The winner will get to choose the prize he wants.

Here's a quick rundown of some of the options...

Audiopulse Epic...choose from 10 or 12"
Upload

CDT EF-61CF/TW-25 6.5" Comp Set
Upload

Dayton Reference Sub...choose from 2 8's or 1 10, 12, or 15"
Upload

Dayton Classic 18" Sub
Upload

Vifa XT25 Ring Radiator Tweeters - 1 Pair
Upload

Dayton BR-1 Monitor Kit
Upload

Dayton WT3 Woofer Tester
Upload

CDT M6+ 6.5" Midbass/Sub-bass Drivers - 1 Pair
Upload

42ft of Cascade VB-2 Dampening Mat
Upload

PG Ryval V752 2-channel Amp
Upload

$100 off Audiopulse Axis's and Revo's (PRICES FAR BELOW RETAIL ALREADY)
Upload

$100 off CDT component sets (SAME...PRICES FAR BELOW RETAIL ALREADY)
Upload

We'll probably add some more options throughout the week :-) This is just a starting point to give you an idea. I've tried to cater to everybody...from the guy looking for subs..speakers...DIY stuff..home audio..dampening..everything I could think of.

The runner up will get to choose from items such as Dayton Reference 7" mids, Dayton DC28F 1" silk domes, lower quantity of Cascade dampening, CDT coax speakers or maybe some top of the ES-010 tweeters :-) Again...many more things are possible for this section as well. If you have anything specific you're looking for, IM me at ExigeAudio or email me at mike@exigeaudio.com.

If there are enough entrants, the runner-up might get to choose from the big list above...maybe we'll even have 3 winners..who knows :-)

RULES

12 Tickets Max per person

Tickets may be purchased via PayPal. Send payment to sales@exigeaudio.com. MAKE SURE TO LIST YOUR NAME USERNAME AND REAL NAME WHEN PURCHASING. Need to pay via credit card or some other method? Let me know and I'll get you all set up.

Shipping is free. ALL ITEMS ARE BRAND NEW.

I will address this question so there's no complaining..."why so expensive compared to the last two raffles?"

The last two raffles were for items that were worth much less than the items here. For example, an Audiopulse Epic 12 sells for over $250. Also, I'm hoping to have 2-3 winners when this raffle is over...if not more! To accomplish that...there's gotta be some source of funding. Lastly, as stated a second ago..everything is brand new, and hell it carries a full warranty.

Prices:
$6 for 1
$10 for 2
$19 for 4
$35 for 8
$50 for 12

Email any questions to mike@exigeaudio.com. Good luck!

I have four of the PL-Plus II's for my racks just because I need to see what the voltage is at various venues. Furman is extremely rugged stuff and has never failed me over the years. I also have three pairs of the HD-280's above -- best phones going at their price point. Very impressive stuff you are raffling Mike.

And by the way I deleted my powered sub pics.... I thought you left and forgot to post them.

I got those headphones there really nice, deffinitly for the price. I have listened to headphones that are hundreds of dollars more then those and only sound a tiny bit better, if not the same.

Maybe we'll do an Audiopulse GB after the raffle if there's enough interest. We'll see how that works out.

I too own the 300w BASH amp for sub duty. It's powering a Dayton Ref sub and the combo does very well.

And we shall begin...

Before it starts, let me first say: Thank you to everybody who participated. Your contributions made this a huge success. 3 prizes is pretty darn good in my opinion. There is no profit taken from this raffle. This is purely for fun. All proceeds will cover prize costs and shipping costs. If somebody chooses item x, and item x costs less than item y on my end...that money does not get pocketed. It gets passed into value of the third, smaller prize. Hence no profit taken. I wish you all good luck :-)

There was a concern regarding what is a 6 and what is a 9. I'm sorry this was not more clear. My 6's all curve. My 9's are all straight. Please witness the somewhat blurry picture above showing all tickets. I also gathered all #6 and #9 tickets from the box to put them side by side. As you can see they are distinctly different. Also note in the video the 6 curves and loops over itself. Please refer to the picture below if there any questions.

So... Philsauce® hampers Twizsauce® by delaying his choice, because the dollar value of the item he chooses, in tandem with the value of the monitor kit Paul selected, detemines the list Twizsauce can choose from.

Phil I know that Paul has an LCD monitor on his comp but if you have a CRT (tube) monitor and plan on using these speakers for your computer audio, which I highly recommend, go for the Dayton BR-1S model which is the shielded version. It is $10 more but I am pretty sure Mike can make it work. You don't want the unshielded version anywhere near a CRT. These are very nice monitors featuring the 1 1/8" high output silk domes.

To both Paul and Phil: Keep in mind that these crossovers will need assembly so you are going to need a soldering gun, solder, flux, wire cutters and a glue gun or silicone... not to mention thru-hole soldering skills. I am ICP Master certified at thru-hole soldering so if either of you need any help let me know.

LMAO @ Brad and Phil.

Will talk to all 3 of you guys tonight. The shielded vs. non-shielded was the main concern I had for Paul and Phil. Twiz I'll hit you up whenever you're on AIM.

I have a LCD so non-shielded is fine.
And i will be using them for computer audio along with a a/v reciever.
And im sure i will have plenty of soldering questions for you. lol

Steve I have experience in SMT but I am not certified. Surface mount is tricky and generally involves a microscope, so I don't like doing it. I can do the 'down and out', 'drag', and 'flood and wick' techniques pretty well.

I've done some light soldering in my past. I have several soldering gun kits. I know the simple pencil type is best for precise work, which I might want to pick up though.

One of the reasons I wanted the kit was to be able to build it from scratch anyway. It gives you not only a deeper appreciation for the speaker but also a hands on experience on "how it works".

Plus I love speakers.

They both have LCD monitors so they are going unshielded Mike. And Paul also has a projection TV so he won't need shielded if he used them for that either. So tally it up and post what Twizsauce can choose from.

Yeah but I was thinking on using them to replace my HT speaks for the left and right channels.

Do ya think that's a bad idea using monitor speaks for this?

I currently use KLM.

Order placed Paul, will arrive Friday.

Now we're gonna get into Twiz's options. He wants some opinions. I'm just gonna post up some random, nice items that he can get. He does not really have anything particular in mind.

Kit arrived today. Wow. This is a monitor kit?????

The enclosures are huge lol. There's no room near/on my computer desk and I was thinking of hanging them but damn, it would take some serious hardware for that. The kit looks awesome and I'm going to have a ball assembling them.

Thanks again Exige.

Well what I really need is an office not a new table. My PC is on a nice computer station in my gameroom now but the only place for it is under the stairs that lead up. Not much room for something quite that big.
