DVC 2-ohm sub.

http://www.the12volt.com/12voltimages/1_2ohm_dvc_1ohm.gif

Does that mean that I use 4 wires in total?
1. Positive to positive.
2. Negative to negative.
3. Positive to positive (amp).
4. Negative to negative (amp).
?

I'm still learning... :/

Yeah man, honestly I loved the Aviator. Was truely amazing, now I'm even more determined to get a new car and a truely good sounding system. And yeah, if they are having that comp this weekend I'm def. willing to go, just gotta make sure I have the time.

Chad from first hand exp. I'm going to have to say it would be hard to find a better sounding system. (Had to throw that in there.)

it really depends on what kinda sound you like though. if you like the strong high with alot of Boom Boom then you won't like my system. if you like nice balance between mid and high with a slight overpowering of sub then you will like my system.

i like the tweets and the mid to balance out nicely and the sub to slightly over power the front stage. but of course the sub has to sound SMMMOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTHHHHHHH.

Idk, I'm still too much of a noob to even try to describe how good jake's sounded. It honestly made me want to listen to music that I HATE listening to.

yeah a good sq system will do that. before i would just listen to heavy metal or trance. now i find myself listening to more music like jazz/rock or blues. pretty much any music that is recorded good by the record company.

Just did some measurements and I'm pretty sure 2.75 will fit. 2.75 @ 32htz with 40 inches of port does sound good.

Mark, truthfully, nothing except so old stock clarion's that came with the car. I'm saving up for a new car then getting those. It's just i can deal without bump for only so long. When the time comes, probably some CDT Audio stuff.

from the sounds of it you understand that the bass is gonna eat up any chance of a hint of mids and highs... You are loading up on some serious bass.

Still, I would AT THE VERY LEAST beef up your frontstage a lil... It would be inexpensive to grab a couple 6.5's or 6X9's, depending on what your doors will allow and a lil 2 channel kicker or equivalent. Save the component purchase for after you buy a different car.. Otherwise that sub/amp setup will be all you hear, other than a garbled and muffled sound of a struggling stock frontstage.. JMHO

the rear speakers are not that important... you can even run stock off of your HU.. The front is the most important.. but every lil bit helps!
