I was looking at buying a Alpine iDA-X100 but was wondering if this would be a good choice?

Any recommendations of other products would be good as well

Thanks.
On Sonic it says "FREE INSTALL ACCESSORIES!
Free standard dash kits, car specific wiring harnesses and antenna adapters provided with your purchase). Note: Specialty harnesses and kits available at a discounted price and are not included free. "

You think you could help me find the appropriate dash kit to buy for a 2003 Ford Mustang i tried looking but confused and wasn't exactly sure what i needed.

I would not recommend that particular unit as it does not have a CD player in it

Well the reason I say that, I played with one of those units before and the ipod interface was very tempremental, it only worked when it wanted to. IDK what the deal was but if they are all like that I would definetly not recommend it. IDK if there may have been some other issue though b/c I would have expected much better out of Alpine.

Also if you do comps the CD player would be useful as sometimes you can't use external devices.

So you can't ever use External devices in comps?

Did you play with an alpine brand of it?

Too late as it is i guess i ordered it last night.
