So let's say my sub is at an FS of 33.9 hz. I understand that the FS is the point in which the sub "collectively performs."

What would happen if you tuned below the FS? What is the lowest frequency a sub with and FS of 33.9 produce?

Well, the FS is the frequency that the driver will resonate at and the point of highest resistance. So basically, at the resonant frequency, its the point where the weight of the moving parts are balanced with the force of the suspension.

I remember seeing a thread about what you're asking on a different forum. I'll try to find it for you.
