fi q
fi bl
re sx
ss rl-p
aa havoc

I'd say the Q, or like kevin said old XXX. Definetly not the BL or SX, those are designed for more SPL rather than low end.

i read on soundsolutions that the BL could hit great on any lows hip hop can throw at it. and the sx is more low oriented than that i think. so im still leaving that door open unless someone who has had or heard one can argue that

I'm not saying the BL and SX don't hit the lows good, but they are simply not low end oriented subs. The Q and old XXX are.

Look at the FS of the subs being considered to get a rough idea.....

well the sx actually has a fs of 27.x hz, which is close to the rl-p d4 and not too far above the q. and it has a higher force factor of about 21 bl. i think i've ruled out the bl now tho

im thinking of the q's, gotta love the value. but the rl-p interests me, except the d4 version seems lacking to the d2. im gonna do 8 cu ft, what should i tune to. i was thinking 30 hz
