I ran an A3000db for a long time. Never had any problems. I even ran it on a stock electrical due to many problems I had with Iraggi. I also had it fused for more than it was supposed to be.
That being said, I would take the aq2200d if you want to spend the extra cash. I now have a aq2200d but have yet to use it. BUT I would never dissuade someone against using the a3000db.
I dont really understand the bad rep they have. I have seen more happy users than bad. Actually, I have never seen someone complain about their a3000db. Personally I think alot gets wrapped up in a name (power acoustik). IMO the db line is proven. The other PA lines I cant speak for.
