ill prolly get a pair of bls but the Q is still in my mind.

if i get a pair of Qs and tune it lower like 33Hz what would that sound like compared to a pair of BLs tuned to 37Hz?

i know the BL will have higher SPL but will something tuned lower "seem louder". i am thinking that the lower tuned and sql set ups that are big like that will seem more like something that will take ur breath away.

just thought i would see what u guys had to say about how it all sounds

The Qs would most likely hit the lows harder but the BLs would be louder overall. 37hz is still considered sql tuning and will still get very low. DD tunes all of there boxes to 40hz and my boys 3515s still beat on low bass notes.

I have never heard the BLs but IMO the Q is the best sub FI makes...that ive heard...

i had a BL just a few weeks ago tuned to 37.
i am guessing ill prolly just go with that then. i am not looking for SQL i from the way i understand it. i want little kids to set in my car and feel like their chest is going to cave in

The higher output designed sub tuned higher will usually yield a response with more of a peak. Based on your last sentence, I would vote BL.
