Would adding a horn to my subwoofer box be worth the time and money? I have a pair of 12" CompVRs powered by a zx750.1 amp running at 4 ohms. The box has a 3"by 13" vent and has roughly 3 cubic feet of air inside of it. The bass is amazing but a little more high piched sound would be nice. I have hard that horns will give me the higher piched sound im looking for. So would it be worth my time and money to and one or two of them?
(BTW thanks for reccomending the subs and amp that I am using.)

Thanks

horns would deffinatly give you a higher pitched sound. but maybe you need better speakers.

I think that my speakers are ok. I have a pair of sony 3 way 6x9's recieving 150 watts each and another pair getting 50 watts each.

( I have horns )
... They don't give you a HIGHER PINCHED sound... A horn is a mono-tone speaker. It'll just be extremely loud... Sometimes irritating.
