Fuse to my batteries

so i have no fuse going from my starter battery to my 2nd battery and the wire is 20 foot. i have a 200 amp and a 90 amp fuse my 2 amps. what fuse do i need between my starter battery and my 2nd battery?

Put a fuse ~1ft from your starting batt, one ~1ft from the back batt, and 1 after the back bat2t3 6+6+6+33

Yes you MUST HAVE FUSES at both ends of that wire. Get them in there asap it is extremely dangerous having an unfused wire that long.


If the wire is 0 gauge (which it better be) use 300 amp fuses.

Haha I say that b/c the consequences of not using the proper fuses can be disastrous. If an unfused wire shorts to ground, it will burn. And with a heavy gauge wire like 4 or 0 gauge it can likely start a fire in the car.

ya it is 0 guage.
what is the 6+6+6+333 thing?
i am getting an other battery also. they will be right next to each other so i am guessing there is no reason to have fuses between something like a foot apart?

No you don't need to fuse those wires

didn't think so. i posted my last ? i just made a new thread. after that i am ready to order some mroe stuff! i got my AQ2200 yesterday!
