I have a 15" kicker l7 4ohmdvc,and i have a ma audio hk-1397 amp, which does 1600 watts rms at 4 ohms, can somebody look up the specs on how i could wire this so im getting at least 1000 watts rms to the sub, can i use the 2 channels instead of bridging it, on the 2 voice coils, help me out need answers asap
By just a quick look at the specs, you are not going to be able to get 1000rms out of that amp to your sub, any way its wired. You are going to have to wire each coil to one channel and you will be feeding each coil 400rms.....so 800rms total.
