My HU has -12 to +12 dB bass boost centered at 100hz
My amp has 0 to 18 dB bass boost at 45hz

4" coaxial in the front doors
6.5" coaxial in the rear deck

Im currently using capacitors on my coaxials for high pass filters.
I have 3 pairs
100hz
400hz
600hz

i can combined them to make other things, bit those are the base three capacitors i have.

What would u block where? and what would u boost where?

I would run your amp BB at 0, your HU BB at 0 and run the 100hz bass blockers on each set of speakers.

the bass blockers are passive so they don't block everything below 100 they just kinda numb it

Didn't your comps come with a crossover? If not I would get some real crossovers, caps are kinda cheezy...Polo.

If your HU has an adjustable HPF, I would use it and set it @ 80-100hz and forget caps like polo said. (don't know much myself about caps/bass blockers, but just keep it simple).

Bass boost pretty much is just a distortion knob. I personally never have mine on. Ive seen people use them very low to just get a little more bass but i wouldnt do it.

Turn it all the way up on both your head unit and amplifier then go ahead and crank it you'll be ok!
