I hit 142.6dB on a termlab mic today... :-)

2 Audiopulse Revos in a 5cuft sealed box with an MMats 3500.1 @ 2ohm (1700rms) and the song is Lil Scrappy-Money in the bank. The guy at the shop couldnt believe it, before we mic'd it i had him guess what it would hit and he said 137-138dB hah. To say the least thats pretty f-ing loud for an SQ setup.

nice numbers jake. i want to meter mine now. i don't expect a single revo15 on 1200wrms to do much but i am just curious.

jake was stoked about his numbers. lol. calling me to brag. damn you.:-)

i was saying 142 was a good score considering the circumstances. to me things can be good or bad. so if it's not bad, that only leaves one other option lol.

SH!T 142 is pretty d@mn good for sealed box, but, that number also depends on what vehicle and where the enclosure is in the vehicle and what the system setting were at the time.

This is why I recommended that Jake go sealed on this one. 142 is more than loud enough for anyone that isn't competing and the Revo's are very tight and controlled in this config, but also have very good extension. You would be hard pressed to find a system that sounds better at that level. I hope Thilo can gather up the pieces and use his technology in some form in the future because nobody builds subs like he can.

I heard that Thilo managed to buy his patents back and will be continuing the production of TC subs. Not sure what name or price or anything though.
