Battery WIRING HELP PLEASE!

i really really need to know if i have to wire the negitive from the starter battery to the 2nd battery or not! i am going to start install on friday!!
can i take my neg on the 2nd battery to a ground some place close in the car or do i need to run 2 wires to the starter battery????

Nothing goes to the starter, where the hell did you get that from.

It would be ideal to run a ground wire from front battery - to rear battery - just like you do with the positive. (assuming the batteries are the same otherwise you have to isolate them)

IF and only IF you have done the big 3 (which you should have) it is possible to ground the rear battery to the vehicle. But if it's not a unibody car, it has to be to the frame not the body.

i have not done the big 3 because i don't have a bigger alt yet.
i think i found my wiring problem

i didn't mean starter. i was talking about the starter battery. the 1st battery.

hope my stock alt will hold up with both of these batteries....
if not then ill have to buy a new one

u guys don't have to tell me that i need a bigger alt because i know i do.
its a 90 amp alt powering 1600rms

but i don't have the other amp in yet so it will be alright for now

Just don't ground to both the battery and the chassis.

If you have not done the big 3, do NOT ground that 2nd battery to the chassis
