Do one of these exist? I've seen a few 1/2 DIN voltage meters in some people's installs but I have never actually seen one for sale anywhere online.

Can anyone link me to one or some? I think Stinger makes a 1/2 DIN one but not sure if anyone makes a single DIN one.

Come to think of it I have never seen a full din voltmeter, only half din ones. If youre looking for one why not just get a regular round gauge and make a pod for it in your pillars? That would look cool.

Twiz, after all the time we have spent in chat, you haven't learned how lazy I am to do that? Lol. Nor do I have the skills, let alone the opportunity to do that thanks to the fact that I can't do anything custom in my car.

That would be badass to do though.

I really want a single din or half din one cause I think it would look real clean.

The voltmeter I have came with a bracket to mount under the dash. Electrician's tape would probably eliminate the need for screws.

:-) glad to help. having owned one i don't think i'll ever be able to have a system without such a device. it's fairly bright though so if you want to keep a dim cabin i wouldn't recommend it.

honestly.. bet bet is to do a prosport premium gauge

it is round, but worth it :-)

http://prosportgauges.com/premium_series_peak_warning_gauges.aspx

i run these in my car, not only the volt gauge..

anyway, long story short.. you can set the peak/low and it will warn you if you've gone over/under that number.. when doing so it will flash on and off red and beep loudly

so if you voltage drops below a certain voltage, you will be warned

Thats pretty cool Kevin. Only thing is I don't know where I would mount it at. I'll look around on my dash and see if there would be any spot that would be good. The peak/low is a pretty neat feature.

That is interesting Kevin. I'm going to consider the A-piller and the last one. Only thing I don't like is having the "ricer" look when really its a mere voltage meter lol.
