theres dyna's three ways too...340 or 360 but you would have to hear them first to see if you like them...if they will fit where you want them

ok the dynaudio 240 i am not sure you want that. that was my choice before i got my dls. i was talking to the guys at woofersetc and he told me the cdt hd62 sound just as good if not better so that is why i didn't get it. i heard the cdt and wasn't too happy with it. also the tweeters are not strong at all. i know the silk tweets are suppose to be soft but the dyn240 is too soft.

yeah the dyna set all together was on the soft side when I listened to it and it sounded better on lower power...my brother agreed it sounded better on lower power too...I dont know if the dyna rep had them over powered on the high power or if it was the right power and they just started loosing the balanced sound they had on higher volume levels...but if what I heard out of the rainbow mids was anything close to how they sound i was very disappointed...they didnt sound anywhere near as balanced or as tight as the dyna's did

ive had two sets of CDTs.. they are great for people who want loud components but they sound fake.. like a forced sound

me and chad are team dls :P .. very active silk domes that are not harsh or too soft.. just right

midbass is great and midrange is even better .. but if you run the nobeliums like me i'd run at least 150-200rms to each mid and 75 rms to each tweet

btw, are you going to install some kickpods or use factory locations?

gonna have to go with the high end JBL's 660GTi

http://www.audio-warehouse.com/web/mdl/660GTI/detail.asp

this professional in canada said they killed his high end CDT comps which cost over $1500

the regular jbl GTIs are the same as the high end except the defragment ring to off-set staging.. at least what ive been told from a jbl dealer

i just love the warmth of DLS.. very natural reproduction of sounds
