I hear that the audiobahn linear compression drivers are pretty stout but also fairly inefficient. If you have some stupid amount of power you may need this durability.
Some claim that the Digital Audio compression drivers are more efficient but don't handle as much power and don't sound as clear at excessive levels. Of course, who really has 2000w RMS fed to any single speaker?
Audiobahn is apparently gaining popularity. Imagine that, Mobile Authority actually being respected *laffs*

There's also a DHD linear compression driver but it appears to just be a derivitave of their existing line...not a ground-up designed linear compression driver.
