Gold Member Username: TejcurrentPost Number: 1298 Registered: Apr-07 | Assuming only double baffling the top for the subs that would make the box 22.464 (45.5x45.5x18.75==22.464ft) The subs will displace at least 1ft 21.464 To get enough port with a square port 20x11 at 29" deep would be good, tuning around 28hz and displacing 4.394ft, ending up with around 17.07 ft net. This may be off just slightly, but with that much space I wouldn't do more than 3 18s or 4 15s. I just clicked on that link from subwoofer tools, and that box wouldn't have enough port area imo. I'd make sure you had at least 200sq of port. If you want to do a slot port with the same box I mentioned make the port around 23 inches deep instead. I think it would displace around 3.253ft, so you'd have about 18.211ft net. That doesn't include bracing, but threaded rod wouldn't displace a whole lot. |

Gold Member Username: TejcurrentPost Number: 1302 Registered: Apr-07 | Don't trust win isd, it graphs everything wrong imo. I'd only use it for port length and that sort of thing. I've talked to someone (I want to say Scott from Fi, but I don't intend to quote him or say it for sure) that said the BTL graphed better sealed than ported in winisd, which is obviously wrong. |
