Any amp that is 2 ohm stable can be run at 3 ohms. You simply take half of the amount of difference in watts between its 2 and 4 ohm ratings to get what power you will see at 3ohms.

Example:

2 ohms = 1000RMS

4 ohms = 500RMS

Your 3 ohm output on this amp will be 750RMS.

not with the pdx. the pdx produces 1000 watts @ both 2 and 4 ohms. its possible it produces the same power @ 3 and 1 as well.

LOL Once again:

"You simply take half of the amount of difference in watts between its 2 and 4 ohm ratings to get what power you will see at 3ohms"

PDX and some other amps including JL -- Example: 1000-0 = 1000
