i have a Memphis pdr.1000 amp(1000W RMS) and 2 12" rockfort fosgate subs... id like to use the stock hole cut into my car for a 10" subwoofer... is there a 10" sub that can handle 1000W RMS and how would it compare to what I have now. Thanks!

You'd be better off spl wise with 2 12s, just work on a better box if you want them louder. If you want to save space though it sound okay with some work, and there are tons of subs out there that will work.

Alpine type-x
AQ HDC3
Fi Q
Fi BL
SSD Icon

Tons of others out there, but like I said no matter what you put there if it's on the same power chances are you won't be as happy with it.

^Thanks for correction :-)
Typing with one hand ftl

The Q or Icon would both be a good price and do well in a sealed enclosure if you aren't worried about SPL.

What kind of car do you have? What size space do you have to work with?
