it seems like some of the stuff needed for car audio prices have been going up lately.

of course the price of copper has gone up so the cables are getting a bit more expensive.

price on the kinetik batteries have gone up as well. i bought my hc1800 for $195 late last year. i wanted another one in my trunk so i went to that shop and now the price is $235. i couldn't believe it.

Gasoline, jet fuel and diesel costs are mostly to blame. Gear has to be distributed somehow, and whether it be by truck, plane, train, or ship, or a combination of those -- they all run on fuel and these carriers have been forced to jack up their prices across the board. I dropped a 20 in my truck last night and got five gallons FTMFL.

I put $50 in mine and got about a half tank. Even tho its' cheaper here doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.
