RD is really soild, Kicker would be not a bad choice either thought I think the RD will do more power as the Kicker can't (shouldn't) go below a 2ohm load.

Kicker zx2500.2 = 2500rms @ 2 ohm
RD 3750.1 = 3000rms @ 1 ohm

Stay away from Crunch I have not heard anything good about that company.

Mmats are supposed to be crazy good amps
D3500.1 = 2700 Wrms @ 1 ohm

i just need between 2500 and 3000,and on this forum i have heard great things about the crunch3000D alone, i know that their other products are questionable, i am by no means a noob in this field i just simply wanted to expand my list of ~3000watt ams so i didnt miss any an not consider them.

Well Hifonics, Crunch, Mb Quart are all owned and operated by Maxxsonics. So you could check out the Brutus BXi 2608D as well.

I wasn't saying noob or anything as I can't recall hearing anything great about Crunch products and I don't want to steer people into bad/faulty lines of equipment.

kevin, im going to push back my system, i will talk to you before i buy my amp. im going to save about $8,000 for my setup so it will be a few months. reason is because the electrical system in my truck is fried and im having problems finding someone to fix it.

The new Crunch GP3000D is supposedly a real solid amp. Do some research on it and you'll see.

"Ok guys, here it is. Depending on your battery set up this amp will make an ungodly amount of power. With a 12volt battery set up dropping to 11.5 volts the Crunch GP3000D Pro made 2850 watts at a 1.03 ohm reactive. That's 4 12volt batteries. If you can get the voltage up the amp will make much more. By just starting the car and using the high amp alternator (starting at 16.1 volts and dropping to 12.3volts), the 3000 made 3732 watts. That's crazy isn't it. THAT'S NOTHING! I hooked it up to a 16volt battery set up and it just went crazy! With the battery voltage dropping to 15.7 volts with a 1.4 ohm reactive this monster made 4640 usable watts. NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT!"

Eric From Team Live Wire Wrote that

Wow i gotta say im impressed.. Crunch putting out number like that.. Amazing neva thought i'd see they day, what is Next Sony actually making good subs and amps lol

American Bass amps you can find used on caraudio.com or ebay. They don't sell those amps new to the public.

Kicker by far........ thats no contest. MA audio is crap btw.

And LOL at that crunch "benchtest"....... you can't accurately benchtest an amp with a reactive load.

After hitting up the term pro site the Crunch amp doesn't sound like too bad of an amp and can be bought for $485 off ebay.

Just go with what fits your budget, needs and what you like the best.

I dont trust any bench test sheet that is hand written out of somebodies shop...Its just so easy to make that 3 look like an 8, catch my drift..

Find an Orion 2500D or Kicker Kx2500.1 and call it a day...

Yeah they are not real efficient. Those amps are cheaper for a reason, you get what you pay for.
