hey guys, I should be getting my 0ga kit in some time tomorrow.

my question is, where or how should I run my power wire without drilling into the fire wall?

right now i have 4ga wire coming through the front quarter panel, behind the door hinge and up through the gasket that protects the wires in the door.

by gasket I mean where the wires from the car go into the door.

I can post a pic if anyone needs a visual.

I have a 2001 s10 blazer. I was thinking of doing the same thing with the 0ga as I have done with the 4ga, but I was just curious to see if anyone had any other ideas or something more efficient.

thanks in advance.

Look on the passenger side floor where the carpet meets the dash under the glove box, lift that up and there should be a rubber plug, just run it through that. My cousins 99' S-10 is that way, and so is my friends 01' grand prix. In my 98'gp there is a similar rubber plug on the driver side way up under the dash where the steering column is.

Run it under the car but you'll have to drill into the trunk then.

Why is everybody so f*cking scared of damn drill. lol.

Accroding to the guys on s10forum, you can fit up to 4 gauge through your antenna grommet on the passenger side under the dash. Bigger than that you've got to drill.

oh, if you were just quoting for the sake of it, then nvm. I thought one, you were insulting me, and two disregarding the fact that I said I would prefer to avoid doing any further drilling.

in that case, no hard feelings. sorry if I came off rude.

If you're not going to break out the drill and run through the firewall or through the trunk you're better off selling that wire. Trying to run it through the fender/door area is goofy and will probably cause problems. I think it's kind of funny how people don't want to drill.

A grommet, piece of rubber tubing, or piece of wire loom will all work. Then use silicone sealant around it.
